We have encountered a very rare bug in the software. It will only occur when there are spaces added on the end of the history name (when performing historization of current condition mapping, eg. after checking an art work before shipping).
If you run into this and treatment mapping doesn't perform the way it should, you may check the following:
- open the "layers" panel from the Photoshop menu "window".
- in the layer panel check for layer sets within the set "Historie".
- double click on the name of the nested layer sets and check if history sets have spaces in the end. If so, remove the spaces and confirm your change by pressing "enter" on your keyboard.
Now your file should work fine again. Please be aware that manually altering anything in the layer panel may result in corrupted files. Always keep the layer panel closed whilst working with the Mapping System MSv8.
Our latest update to the Mapping System MSv8 includes a fix so this cannot happen with files created after today.
